|1. When and where can I pick up reading club information?
Club packets are available at all three (3) branch locations starting June 5. Materials will be located at the circulation service desks and at select events and programming.
|2. Do I need to have a library card to participate?
No one needs a library card to participate in any of our programming; however, we certainly encourage everyone to get a library card if you don't already have one.
|3. I'm 18 and in high school. Can I join the Teen & Adult Reading Clubs?
No; everyone may join one (1) club. If you're 18 and still in high school, it will be your choice to join either the Teen or Adult Reading Club.
|4. My child is going into the fifth grade. Which is the club to join?
If entering the fifth grade at the start of the upcoming fall semester, he/she will be a part of the Kids' Reading Club. If entering into the sixth grade, he/she will participate in the Teen Reading Club.
|5. Do you only count books I checkout from the library for the reading club?
No; you may also count any books, eBooks, or audiobooks you've read from the library, from your personal library, borrowed from a friend, purchased, etc. As long as they are read between June 5 - July 28, they will count towards the library's summer reading clubs.
|6. What does it cost to participate?
Nothing. All summer reading clubs and programming is offered 100% free. It's one of the best sources of summer entertainment library staff is excited to offer the community each year.
|7. What if I need more raffle tickets for the prize drawings for teens/adults?
Feel free to pick up additional raffle tickets from any branch library location, or Download/Print online.
