Each of the four Senior Centers offer a variety of recreational activities that include card games, dance classes, field trips, educational opportunities, and more.

Family Holiday Festival
The City of Abilene Senior Services Division will host its annual Family Holiday Festival on Friday, December 9th at the Rose Park Senior Activity Center. The festival is themed “Old Fashioned Christmas” and will include several events throughout the day and serves as the Senior Services Division annual fundraiser.
At 9:45am morning bingo will begin and the cost is $5 per card. There will be various prizes sponsored by Abilene Regional Senior Circle.
At 5pm dinner service will begin with a menu of turkey, dressing, sides, and dessert. Tickets run $8 per person for dinner only. Tickets for the dinner & dance can be purchase in advance for $13 per person.
From 5-6pm dinner entertainment will include a performance by David Holbrook!
At 6:30pm evening bingo will begin with the cost of $5 per card.
From 7-10pm there will be a dance featuring music by Muddy Creek. Cost for the dance is $6 per person and may be purchased in advance with a dinner ticker or at the door for the dance only.
A Silent Auction will be on display at the Rose Park Senior Center. The auction will begin December 5th and come to an end Friday, December 9th at 8pm. Auction items include jewelry, gift cards, household items, and more. To bid on items, visit the Rose Park Senior Activity Center from 8:30am – 4pm Monday through Friday.

Fitness and Health Related Activities
The City of Abilene Senior Services Division offers a variety of fitness classes for Active Adults. These classes are led by senior volunteers and designed for Senior Citizens.
